Personalized nutrition plans that are individually tailored to the goals and needs of the customer are part of the tool of every nutritionist. Up to now, however, the creation of nutritional plans has been very time-consuming and anything but easy and precise. Hours of searching for suitable recipes, which then had to be tailored to the individual requirements of the customers, such as special diets, intolerances or food exclusions. Nothing could be automated or quickly adjusted.
This is now over, because the nutritional software from Natty Gains automatically creates the right nutritional plans for your customers, is very easy to use and adapt and gives you a detailed overview of the customers’ eating habits.

Personalized and flexible nutrition software
The unique thing about the nutrition software: After you have personalized the nutrition concept for your customers using the detailed questionnaire, the software automatically creates nutrition plans that are individually tailored to the customer. You can adopt these templates and release them to your customers. You can also rearrange the meal plans as you wish by changing suggested recipes, adjusting ingredient amounts, setting your own meals and much more.
This is how nutrition plans help your customers to achieve their goals
- A nutrition plan gives the customer’s individual eating habits a clearly defined structure
- Exact adherence to the number of calories in order to achieve the physical goal
- Breakdown of macro and micronutrients
- Precise success control of eating behavior
- Adjustments to recipes, meals, food, etc. are possible at any time
- Easy meal planning & weekly shopping
- Raising customer awareness of food, calorie counts, nutritional values, quantities, etc.
Diet plans in detail
Every Monday, the software automatically creates the nutrition plans for the following week. As a coach, you have enough time to look at the new nutrition plans and make changes for your client if necessary.
If you want to set your customers a routine with weekly identical nutrition plans, this is also possible via a setting in the customer profile. This simplifies both your work as a nutrition coach and the implementation for your customers.
The “Plan” page shows your customers’ nutritional plans for the coming days. With a click on each of the future days, you can display the daily plans that have been created with the recipes for the individual meals for these days.
Daily balance
The daily balance contains the calorie goal and the nutrient distribution
Based on the meals that are on the nutrition plan for the respective day, your customers receive an overview of their individual daily calorie target and the associated nutrient distribution. Both the calorie and nutrient goals and the selection of the recipes are based on the plan settings that you specified in the questionnaire.
Target values
With the display of the target values, you as a coach have a direct overview of how precisely your customer’s daily nutrition plans already correspond to the target values. If necessary, you can make changes and further refine the plans by swapping or editing recipes, adjusting ingredient amounts, or setting your own meals. Your customer also has a direct view of their target values when recording their diet throughout the day.

Macronutrients
The “Macronutrients” tab gives you a detailed overview of the macronutrients proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Here you can find out which amino acids make up the protein balance, how the various carbohydrates are distributed, how high in fiber the daily plan is and which fatty acids make up the fat content.
Micronutrients
In the “Micronutrients” tab you also have an overview of the minerals, trace elements and vitamins. This way you can see whether your customer is consuming enough micronutrients that day or whether there are deficiencies. The reference values for nutrient intake are based on the recommendations of the DGE.
Download the nutrition plan as a PDF
The nutrition plans can also be downloaded as a PDF file. To do this, select the period for which the file should be created. Click on “Download nutrition plan” to start the download.
The PDF will be created in your design and will include your logo and a link to your website. The nutrition plans are structured on a daily basis. Basically, the PDF consists of 2 pages on which up to 4 meals for one day are shown.
Page 1 lists the meals with their respective recipes. The presentation of the recipes includes all information in detail, from the cooking time to the ingredients to the nutritional values.
The preparation steps are explained on page 2. Below the recipes you will find the calorie target and the macronutrient distribution of the daily plan.
An exception to this are diet plans with 5 meals and more per day. In this case, the daily plan is displayed on 4 pages.
View & edit recipes
Below the nutrient overview you will find the recipes of the nutrition plan. Simply scroll through the days and see which recipes the software initially suggests for your customers on the relevant days.
Recipe info
Each recipe is presented with the following properties:
- Preparation time in minutes
- Difficulty level
- Projected cost of preparing the recipe.
For a detailed view of a recipe, the individual boxes “Ingredients”, “Preparation” and “Nutritional values” can be opened. This shows which foods are required in which amounts for the recipe, how the recipe is prepared and how many calories and nutrients the recipe contains.
Open edit mode
You can flexibly and dynamically adjust recipes to further optimize nutritional plans in terms of calories and macronutrients. You open the editing mode of the recipes in the recipe by clicking on the “pencil” icon at the top right in the ingredients box.
You can then choose from the following functions:
Change ingredient amounts
Adjust the amounts of the existing ingredients using the “+” and “-” buttons to change the recipe (serving size, calorie count, nutritional information). Alternatively, you can enter and confirm the new ingredient quantity directly. The new amounts – and of course the associated nutrients – are automatically taken into account in the calorie and macro goal.
Delete ingredients
You can delete existing ingredients from the recipe using the “trash can” icon.
Add new ingredients
You also have the option of adding new ingredients to the recipe based on our Real Food database.
Adjust preparation text
If you have made adjustments to the recipe and the list of ingredients has changed, you should also adjust the preparation of the recipe. After you have changed the preparation text, confirm the changes by clicking on “Update”.
This gives you flexibility with regard to the individual recipes and you can make the diet plans even more precise. You can also cover the different nutritional needs of your customers even more precisely and influence the portion sizes in order to make the nutrition plans much more individual for your customers.
Change the recipe in the nutrition plan
If either you or your customer would like to exchange the recipe, this is easily possible! With a click on “Change”, the software displays alternative recipe suggestions that also match the goals and eating preferences of your customer. All of the recipes shown here deviate from the current recipe by a maximum of 100 calories in the standard portion.
Each recipe alternative automatically adapts to your customer’s calorie and nutrient goals, so that the nutrition plans continue to be effective even after the recipe has been exchanged.
Click on “Replace Recipe” to perform a recipe swap and integrate the new recipe into your customer’s meal plan.
Note that caloric adjustment is only ever possible to a certain extent. However, you can subsequently compensate for any calorie differences that occur as a result of a recipe swap in the recipe editing mode of the other meals of the day by adjusting the amount of ingredients accordingly.
Check meal as “eaten”
After a meal, the recipe can be ticked off by your customer by clicking on “Eaten”. In this way, the meal is included in the customer’s calorie and nutrient balance and tracked. Your customer always has an overview of how many calories he has already eaten during the day and how many are still left to eat.
For you as a coach, this also serves as a check to be able to understand whether your customer is actually implementing the nutritional concept.
Save recipe
If the meal tasted particularly good to your customer, he can favor it under the respective recipe by clicking on “Save”. All favorite recipes are saved in the recipe database and displayed under “Favorites”. There they can be viewed directly by both you and your customers. So if you, as a coach, take a look at your customer’s favorite recipes, you immediately gain important insights into your customer’s eating preferences and can take them into account when creating future nutrition plans.
Adjust portions and cook for friends and family
It is also possible to adjust the number of portions. For example, if your customer wants to help prepare dinner for their partner, family or friends, the number of portions can be changed. The change is possible in steps of 0.5 in order to also take into account smaller portions, e.g. for children. This changes the ingredient quantities in the recipe and also on the shopping list accordingly.
Add more meals
If you want to flexibly integrate an additional snack into the plan for your customers on certain days, or if your customers want to log their “unplanned” snack, you have the option of adding a new daily meal. This feature is also beneficial when your clients eat more meals on training days.
You will find the “Add new meal” option below the last meal of the day. To record a new meal, first determine the type of meal – breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack – and set the time. Confirm the entry by clicking on “Add a new meal”.
A new meal now appears in the daily overview, preset in tracking mode, i.e. as an “empty” meal. The food eaten can then be recorded individually. Alternatively, either a saved recipe or a self-created meal can be integrated into the daily planning via the favorites.
Create your own meals
In order to be even more flexible in nutrition planning, you can use the tracking mode to record and save your own meals. This allows them to be accessed quickly at a later point in time.
The linked food databases can be used to search for the ingredients to add to the meal.
Once the ingredients have been entered, the meal can then be given a name using the “Name meal” field and saved as a favorite.
The newly created meal can then be viewed in the favorites tab under “Meals”. This gives you and your customers the opportunity to access these meals in the favorites list in the future and to integrate the entire meal with all the ingredients into the daily planning with just one click .
Create your own food entries
In order to record a food or product whose entry you or your customers can neither find in the Real Food food database nor in the barcode product database, you can now create a new food or product in tracking mode using the “Create new entry” option be added to the database.
This entry is easily created with the appropriate name, unit and values for calories and macronutrients.
The new entry is then available to your customers via the “Real Food” database and can be taken into account for nutrition planning. Note that the new entry can only be viewed by the user who created it.
Table 3: Favorites
In addition to “Recipe” and “Tracking”, there is another Favorites tab for each meal. You can save recipes, meals and ingredients in lists as favorites.
All favorite recipes that have been marked with a heart on the plan page and in the recipe portal are displayed under “Recipes”. You can still find these in the recipe portal via the menu item “Favorites”. To add one of your favorite recipes to the planning, click on the “Plus” symbol.
All meals that you have entered and named yourself can be viewed under “Meals”. Similar to the recipes, a meal and its ingredients can be integrated directly into the daily plan by clicking on the “Plus” symbol.
Under “Ingredients” all favorite foods that have been marked with a heart when searching in tracking mode are displayed. For example, if you or your customers are looking for a cucumber in tracking mode, they are favored by clicking on the heart symbol.
To remove favorite recipes, meals and ingredients from the favorites lists, simply click on the heart of the relevant entry. But be careful with the meals: You will lose access to this self-created meal.
